So, I’ve got most of the wheel printed… I’ve done a few dummy runs of connecting it together and even putting the quick-release mechanism to the QR adaptor on the wheel.

It really looks quite something, this was without buttons/screen/LEDS connected, just gear/clutch/QR. (ignore the old wheel on the side)

It doesn’t look too bad as it currently is – and it felt really nice in the hands.

I’ve used the G25 QR adapter by RamjetX, this was pretty much perfect for the cheapo QR mechanism, and was a quick install. I’ll go over this when the wheel is ‘done’

I’ve done most of the sand and primer bits now, it’s really just the final coats of paint, then hydro-dip if required.

Looks pretty smooth, not many layer lines are visible, I’m not going for 100% smooth, or 100% perfect as it’s something that can never be, but I’ll go for something close within my ability!
